PC-300 pouch cutter 

The PC-300 dispenser is a special cutting system. The attributes of this system are the secure cutting and the accurate feeding of linked bags with a machine speed of more than 300 cycles/minutes. The transport system equipped with special coated belts is driven by a servo motor to ensure a positioned delivery into the cutting device, even if the machine speed changes.
The product roll has to be put into the roll holder of the PC-300.Then the linked bags are unwound by deflection rollers equipped with side guides and transferred to the aligning unit. Optionally a welding station can be integrated in order to weld the end of the linked bags to the next chain. Subsequently the products are forwarded to the cutting system by the transport unit.
This newly developed rotary cutting system is driven by its own servo motor and synchronised with the transport unit. The synchronisation as well as a special sensor technology ensure a definite product separation at the welded seal or at a printmark on the linked bags.
The separated products are now transferred by a Teflon coated exit extension directly into the spaces of the flighted belts conveyor.
Due to modern drive and control technology this system is extremely flexible for many applications.

 

The Kora-Packmat PC-300 Pouch Cutter is a specialised system for secure cutting and accurate feeding of linked products, either from a reel or directly from a box.  The chain of products is fed through the roll holder and transported to a servo driven rotary cutting system, via an aligning unit, for speed and accuracy.  Once cut/separated from the reel, products can be placed onto a conveyor, dropped into boxes, placed with other items or glued to another product.  Flat products with glued or placed inserts from the pouch cutter can then be conveyed and later wrapped to the required specification. 

Example products are:  Small toys in cereal boxes, sugar sachets in drinks products, condiment samples in ready meals, plastic cutlery in boxes or ready meals, salt & pepper sachets, desiccant gel in product boxes,  cosmetic samples glued on magazines,  promotional items in magazines/manuals/DVDs etc. 

Standards product dimensions are min 50mm x 30mm up to max 150mm x 55mm however adaptations can be made for other formats.
