ADL PELLETRON SOLUTION FOR RECYCLING SECTOR

Advanced Dynamics Limited is targeting the recycling and reclamation industry with a new range of exciting dedusters from Pelletron, which are designed for the removal of dust and debris during the production or reprocessing of plastic.

Historically, plastic granules have been renowned for their creation of dust when conveyed through pipes, silos, tanks and similar items. Dust is also created from injection-moulding machines and the use of recycled materials, left from earlier projects. The dust created is nearly always statically charged, arising from frictional contact made during movement and production.

However, all these problems could be a thing the past thanks to the innovative design of the Pelletron granule de-dusting range, which enables it to be integrated into pipework used for the transportation of plastic particles, thereby allowing dust to be removed whilst the beads are on-route.

Available in a variety of different units ranging from just 10kg per hour through to a massive 40 metric tons per hour, Advanced Dynamics Ltd believes that within the 10 model line-up, there is a machine suitable for almost any plastic volume.

Dust contamination is often a recurring problem in the plastics industry and if not removed can lead to colour distortions and product faults. These can range from simple black specs on lenses through to more dangerous applications such as the distortion of car headlamps and aircraft instruments.

A further recurring problem is poor colour match arising from the wrong colours being present during the production of colour cases, such as those used on mobile phone covers and plastic boxes.

The equipment cleans to a very high standard and works with any size plastic bead. Alongside better product presentation the Pelletron range also offers cost savings on factory maintenance and overall cleanliness.

To demonstrate the equipments excellent performance, potential customers can submit samples to Advanced Dynamics Ltd for de-dusting at a pilot plant.  The Pelletron laboratory can accurately measure the cleaning effect enabling optimisation before any equipment is installed.

Advanced Dynamics joint managing director, Mike Essler, says: “The Pelletron range represents a major breakthrough in de-dusting technology for all UK manufacturers of plastics products.  In addition the Pelletron range is so broad that we can meet any known requirement in a minimum of space.  The Pelletron augments our existing range of Simco solutions, enabling us to provide the customers with a dust contamination package that closely matches their needs.”

As well as offering the Pelletron range, Bradford based Advanced Dynamics also offers an extensive range of static management systems suitable for controlling plastic components even for the most demanding of applications. Products offered include ionizing bars, blowers, extractors and pinning systems. A comprehensive static auditing service is also offered and plastic companies experiencing difficulties should contact the company, for a free non-obligatory discussion to determine the most appropriate solution.
