Liquid Filling Machines – choosing the right one
Whether you need to fill pharmaceuticals, food, petrochemicals, detergents, or something else, our liquid filling machines offer an accurate, waste free and flexible system, that can be customised to your needs. Our machines can help improve production numbers, provide accurate dosage of liquid, and save on staffing and filling costs.
So, what makes our liquid filling machines stand out and how do you choose the right one?
How do liquid filling machines work?
The standard filling systems either come with a conveyor that feeds multiple products under the filling nozzles at the same time – which then pauses whilst the bottles are filled, or a star wheel which feeds one product at a time under the filling nozzles, but which keeps moving continually.
Once the bottles are in place we use servo-driven volumetric cylinders to fill the selected amount of liquid into the bottles, jars, or containers. Our filling systems come in different head formats depending on production requirements.
Our filling machines are all neck entry fillers – this means that they dispense the product by going into the neck of the container, putting liquid in, and then coming out again. This reduces wastage. We can also offer diving nozzles that can fill the bottle from the bottom upwards, so your liquid doesn’t fizz out of the container.
What resources do you need to install a liquid filling machine?
All you need to install a liquid filling machine in your workspace is power, air, space, and operators. In fact, over time the machines will lead to a reduction in staff costs and other resources as the work is automated and produced at a faster pace.
Liquid filling options
We can fill any low to medium-viscosity product from 5ml to 5000ml.
A liquid filling system works by volume – filling the container with an exact volume of liquid the same way as a syringe. Due to the accuracy of our machines, we can cope with filling the exact amount of product into a container, every time, and cope with very small amounts of liquid if needed.
Liquids that will work well in our machines include cleaning solutions, juice, water, oil, and fine syrup. Other liquids that are used regularly in our machines include e-liquids, moisturisers, cream, water-based paints and much more.
Liquids should not be carbonated, flammable or corrosive, and must not contain any suspended particles.

Container options
We can fill plastic and glass bottles, jars, tubs, jerry cans, and containers. We sell specialised bottle filling machines and container filling machines for a range of other types. As our machines are customisable, they can be adjusted to accommodate a range of sizes and types of containers.
We cannot, however, fill cans, pouches, or sachets.
How do you maintain a liquid filling machine?
Our machines are self-cleaning, in that they include a Clean in Place, or CIP, system that you can run between different types of liquid to ensure that there is no cross contamination. This works by rinsing and sanitising the machine and equipment with hot water or cleaning fluid, to remove any product build-up – cross contamination, dust, or debris. Effectively, this means that you could swap between flavours on the same line.
Each machine comes with a 12-month warranty as standard with an option to extend to five years.
